Anita B. Belanger Obituary

Anita B. (Leveillee) Belanger, 98, formerly of Lexington Avenue, West Warwick passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Paul G. Belanger.
She was born on January 28, 1921 in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosanna (Vandal) Leveillee.
Anita was a senior technician at the former Hoechst-Celanese Company in Coventry for many years. She previously worked at Davidson Brothers Company in West Warwick, the Pontiac Print Works in Cranston, the Quonset Point Naval Air Station, and the American Tube Company. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of SS. John and James Church and also Christ the King Church both of West Warwick; a member of the Daughters of Isabella-The Nina Circle # 67 of West Warwick; a member of the West Warwick A.A.R.P. Chapter # 2210 of West Warwick; and a past member of the Union of Prayers of Christ the King Church in West Warwick.
She leaves two sons, Ronald Belanger of Warwick and Leo Belanger and his wife, Janet of Minnesota; a daughter, Pauline MacDonald and her husband, Stuart of Exeter; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo Leveillee, Yvon “Roy” Leveillee, Medard Leveillee, Doris Magiera, Cecile Allard, and Claire Jacques.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 9 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 120 Legris Avenue, West Warwick. Interment will be in the Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick. Visitation at the funeral home on Friday morning from 8-9 am. In lieu of flowers, masses can be said in Anita's memory at a church of your choice or contributions can be made to the West Warwick Assistance Agency, 1293 Main Street, West Warwick, R.I. 02893
