George L. Boucher, 89, of Phillip Street, Coventry passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He was the husband of the late Lucille M. (St. Germain) Boucher.
He was born in Cranston, a son the late Charles E. and Denise (Lague) Boucher. George was a retired machinist and tool maker and was also a World War II & Korean War Army veteran.
He leaves a son, George L. Boucher, II and his wife, Dawn of Scituate; four daughters, Denise M. Daudelin and husband, Stuart of West Warwick, Janine R. Brown and husband, Jordan of Coventry, Celeste M. Santos-Reviera and husband, Patrick of Connecticut, and Paulette M. Matteson and husband, Kevin of Coventry; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning 9 to 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to SS. John and James Parish, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick, R.I. 02893.
