James Patrick Todd, 48, of North Kingstown passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of James Todd and Margaret "Peggy" (Carr) Todd of North Kingstown.
James Patrick graduated from North Kingstown High School in 1984. He worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat for ten years before working for the North Kingstown School Department.
He loved cars, boats and being on the water. He enjoyed cruising and traveled on over twenty-five ships, sometimes twice a year.
Family was important to James Patrick. He was a kind, compassionate and caring person; and was always thinking of other people needs.
Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters whom he adored, Stacey Arnold of Naples, FL and Colleen MacIntyre and her husband Andy of Jamestown; his cherished nieces and nephews, Drew, Courtney and Emma MacIntyre, Katherine, Cody and Zakari Arnold; and his special friend, Natalie Masse of Exeter. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James F. Todd and Mr. and Mrs. F. Hazen Carr.
His funeral will be held Monday, December 9, 2013 at 9:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Requiem Eucharist at 11am in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Histiocytosis Association of America, 336 North Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071 will be appreciated.
