Joseph Spaziano Obituary

Joseph Spaziano, Sr., 81, a retired salesman for Sears passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rosetta (Ragosta) Spaziano for 59 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Antonetta (Demelio) Spaziano. Joseph was the loving father of Joseph Spaziano, Jr., and his wife Ann and Lisa Callahan and her husband Brian; loving grandfather of Melissa, Heather, Joseph, Jonathan and Brianna; loving great grandfather of Carlos, Alinah, Raul and Nikolai. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Leo Spaziano, Marie Esposito, Frances Piccirillo and Ann Vetter. Joseph was the owner of J & J Arms and served as a Special on the Johnston Police Department. He was a musician playing the drums for many years.



His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
