Obituary

Rousseau, Romario R., 20, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was a son of Steve and Charmaine (Spike) Rousseau. A graduate of Bishop McVinney School and Bishop Hendricken High School, Class of 2013, Romario was a member of the varsity football team earning three state championships; the varsity track and field team, competing in the Penn Relays. He was currently attending URI, majoring in kinesiology.
Romario was a member of the URI BOND organization. He is also survived by his loving sister, Stacey Brown and loving brother, Kurt Tyler Rousseau; grandparents, Vera Mignott, Eunice Simms, and Phillip Spike; paternal siblings, Patecha, Wongkay, Kamoy, Nakesha and Steven Rousseau. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His funeral will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a funeral service at 11 am in the Providence Assembly of God Church, 353 Elmwood Ave., Providence. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bishop Hendricken High School Scholarship Fund, 2615 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889, will be appreciated.
